I am a journalist with a decade of experience in the news industry. I have worked as a writer and editor for local news websites, as a local news TV producer, and as a reporter for a local news radio station and local newspaper.
As a journalist, I am motivated to support people’s decision-making during these challenging and confusing times by providing accessible, accurate information.
I know how to identify stories that audiences find interesting, how to deeply research and report on those topics, and how to craft entertaining and insightful stories that draw audiences in and keep them coming back.
I tell stories using a variety of methods, including breaking news articles, long-form investigative pieces, newsletters, podcasts, vertical videos on social media (I am proficient in editing and shooting video), more traditional “horizontal” videos we see on our televisions, social media posts, websites and headlines, streaming modules, and news apps on phones, among other methods.
Finally, I know how to interact with sources, witnesses, interviewees, power players and other members of the public in a courteous and respectful manner.
